First of all I would like to thank you for have me on your morning talk show
Mike. It was a very different Mike, I have been on five talk shows and turned
down two television interviews one of them being NBC before; but, I had fun
on your talk show and you being a former Navy veteran just added energy to
it. Some words of encouragement I would have for your listeners are
don't ever give up at what ever it is you believe in, and don't let people
steal your dreams.
Again Mike thanks for have me on you show and I hope to see some of you
listeners in our  SPECWAR community one day!

Mike,
Thank you so much for having Stuart and I on your radio show.  You gave us such a wonderful forum from which
to share our Brain Injury Peer Visitor Program and to inform  the public about brain injury (which so few people,
even doctors, seem to not understand).
I really enjoyed our candid conversation.  You ask great questions.
Mike, being on your show has further inspired me to continue sharing my positively fighting and  overcoming my
disabilities, for not just myself but for the benefit of others.  Your others.  You also have given me more
encouragement to keep story  comments about me "being an inspiration" touched both my
heart and my very soul.  I do believe that God  indeed let me live through my wreck for a
good reason.

The Brain Injury Peer Visitor Program was a true epiphamy.  Through determination, our
support groups efforts, hard work, the Brain Injury Resource Foundation (BIRF) and the
grant they received, Mary Sloan and Stuart Hanzman, our dream to help others with brain
injury and to do God's work will actually happen.
Thank you again for your interest and for allowing us to share our information with
your listeners.
Sincerely,
Ann Boriskie

"I quite enjoyed being on your show last Saturday.  I value the experiences I've had in life and in my career as a Secret Service Special Agent.  I felt it an honor and

Mike,
I can't tell you how pleased we are that you invited us to your show to Highlight SCORE. Chris and I both feel we benefited from this opportunity. We also think your
audience benefited as well. You did a great job directing the interview to keep it on track. Our only task was to make people aware of our free counseling services
to help them be successful entrepreneurs. As an aside, if your link could be to www.scoreatlanta.org that would get your audience to the local SCORE operation.

Hello Mike,
Thanks again for having me on the show. It was a lot fun and I really enjoyed sharing my story. I think the forum you provide is incredible. It allows such a diverse
amount of experiences to be shared with so many. After listening to some of your old shows I realized the information I was hearing was not just to help someone to
get going, but to also help someone to keep going and to keep achieving. I always believed that you should learn from your mistakes so that you don’t repeat them;
and to also learn form other people’s mistakes so that you don’t experience those mistakes as well.
One thing that I feel lucky to have realized in life is that I know why I am here, and that is to help people. When I had that revelation I thought it would be achieved
primarily through my years of diving and medical experiences. But as I grow I realize I have much more to offer, such as what we covered on your show. I guess I
should have listened to my parents more often. Don’t tell them I said that!

Your new listener,
Christopher Grant
President

Mike,
I feel that God has some special plans for you and I believe that Scripture is going to play a major role in your life. Keep your eyes on Christ as you move forward.
As it says in Proverbs 3: 5-7
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.
Acknowledge Him in all you do and He will guide your paths."

I hope to see you soon.

Mike
What a pleasure!  I hope your audience found our exchange as interesting as I did.  You have a knack for asking thoughtful questions that reach below the
superficial to probe the real person.
In our conversation you circled back several times to a core theme: Based on my personal experience, what would I tell a young person who feels stuck?  The
answer I offered - to find a mentor - may have seemed a bit difficult for them, so let me offer one additional, but important thought.
I said that the answers to most of our problems reside within us. Even for the young person who feels hopelessly stuck, I believe the answer is the same.  Since
people judge us more by our actions that our words, I think one way a young person can begin to accept responsibility is to act with integrity.
Doing the right thing, especially in difficult situations, is not only hard...it gets noticed.  If a young person chooses to act with integrity, responsible adults notice.  A
mentor may well be among those who notice.

Thanks again.
I thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
